Teruyuki Kagawa is a Japanese actor who won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 33rd Japan Academy Prize for his role in Mt. Tsurugidake. He graduated in social psychology from the University of Tokyo and embarked on a cinematic career, despite his family's kabuki background. Kagawa has received two nominations for the Best Supporting Actor award at the Japanese Academy Awards for his performances in Warau Iemon and Kita no zeronen. His work includes Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Little Star Wars (2021) and other notable projects. Kagawa's diverse talents also extend to kabuki acting and boxing commentary.
