Teri Garr is an American actress who gained prominence for her role as Inga in Young Frankenstein (1974). Her career spanned over four decades, featuring more than 140 credits in film and television. Garr's notable works include supporting roles in Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), Tootsie (1982), for which she received an Academy Award nomination, and Mr. Mom (1983). She also appeared in The Player (1992) and Prêt-à-Porter (1994), and had guest spots on The Tonight Show and Late Night with David Letterman. Garr was nominated for a BAFTA Award and received a National Board of Review Award during her career.
