Tasha Smith is an American actress and director who began her career with a leading role in the NBC comedy series Boston Common (1996–97). She has appeared in various films, including The Whole Ten Yards (2004), Daddy's Little Girls (2007), and Dolemite Is My Name (2019). Smith portrayed Angela Williams in Tyler Perry's films, including Why Did I Get Married? (2007) and its sequel Why Did I Get Married Too? (2010). She also had a recurring role as Carol Holloway on the Fox series Empire from 2015 to 2020. Tasha Smith directed the film Jumping the Broom (2011).
