Taarek Lotfy is an Egyptian actor who made his film debut in the 1980s after studying at the High Institute of Dramatic Arts and earning a director diploma from the High Institute of Cinema. He has appeared in notable television series such as "Al-‘aaela" (The Family) and "Al’hakeeka wal saraab" (The Truth and the Mirage). Lotfy gained recognition for his performance in the film "Se’eedy fel gam’a al-Amerikeyya" (An Upper Egyptian at the American University). He also starred in the film "122" (2019).
