Tara Basro is an Indonesian actress who made her film debut in Si Boy's (Daily) Notes (2011). She appeared in several films early in her career, including Rumah dan Musim Hujan and the horror omnibus Hi5teria in 2012. In 2014, she had a prolific year, starring in multiple films such as Killers, an Indonesian thriller, and Japan, and the Golden Cane Warrior, which explores the martial arts world. Tara received the Best Actress award at the 2015 Indonesian Film Festival for her performance as Sari in A Copy of My Mind, directed by Joko Anwar.
