Takuya Kimura is a Japanese actor who gained prominence with his lead role in the 1996 television drama series Long Vacation, which sparked the "Lon-bake phenomenon." He has been dubbed "The King of Ratings" due to the high viewership of his subsequent television series, with five of his works ranking among the ten most-viewed TV dramas in Japan. Notable films in which he has appeared include Love and Honor (2006), Hero (2007), and Howl's Moving Castle (2004), where he provided voice work. Kimura also lent his voice to the character Takayuki Yagami in the video games Judgment and Lost Judgment. He starred in The Boy and the Heron (2023).
