Takehiro Hira is a Japanese actor who made his theatrical debut in 2002 with Rokumeikan, a play by Yukio Mishima. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Yoshinobu Tokugawa in the NHK taiga drama Atsuhime. Hira has collaborated with director Takashi Miike on films such as Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai (2011) and Ace Attorney (2012). He appeared in the British TV series Giri/Haji (2019) and had roles in the American films Lost Girls & Love Hotels (2020) and Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins (2021). Hira plays a role in the film Captain America: Brave New World (2025).
