Taika Waititi is a New Zealand filmmaker who directed the Academy Award-winning film Jojo Rabbit (2019). He has received numerous accolades, including an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, and a Grammy Award, alongside nominations for two Golden Globe Awards and six Emmy Awards. His notable works include the films Boy (2010) and Hunt for the Wilderpeople (2016), both of which became the highest-grossing films produced in New Zealand. Waititi co-wrote and co-directed the horror comedy What We Do in the Shadows (2014), which led to a successful television adaptation. He also directed Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and Thor: Love and Thunder (2022). In addition, he produced the soundtrack for Jojo Rabbit, which won Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars.
