Taapsee Pannu is an Indian actress who made her acting debut in the Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam (2010). Primarily active in the South Indian film industry, she has also appeared in Bollywood productions. Pannu gained recognition for her roles in films such as Baby (2015), Aadukalam, and Thappad (2020). Her Tamil film Aadukalam was honored with six National Film Awards at the 58th National Film Awards. In addition to her film career, she was awarded the Most Enthusiastic Performer-Female Award at the 2014 Edison Awards for her work in Arrambam (2013). Pannu has notable performances in Haseen Dillruba (2021) and Mission Mangal (2019).
