SZA is an American singer-songwriter who made her acting debut in the comedy film One of Them Days (2025). She first gained prominence with her self-released EPs See.SZA.Run (2012) and S (2013), leading to her signing with Top Dawg Entertainment. Her debut studio album, Ctrl (2017), was both a critical and commercial success, earning four Grammy Award nominations and becoming the second longest-charting R&B album by a woman on the U.S. Billboard 200. SZA's second album, SOS (2022), achieved significant success, spending twelve weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 and producing several top-10 singles.
