Sylvester Stallone is one of only two actors to have starred in a box-office No. 1 film across six consecutive decades. He began his film career in 1974 with a role in The Lords of Flatbush and gained fame in 1976 for his portrayal of boxer Rocky Balboa in the Rocky franchise, which he also wrote. Stallone played John Rambo in First Blood (1982) and its subsequent sequels, and he has appeared in notable films such as Cobra (1986), Cliffhanger (1993), and Creed (2015). He has received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe Award and nominations for three Academy Awards.
