Sven Wollter is a Swedish actor who played Gusten in the 1966 television adaptation of The People of Hemsö. He gained recognition for his performance as Detective Sergeant Lennart Kollberg in Bo Widerberg's film The Man on the Roof (1976). Wollter is also known internationally for his role as Victor in Andrei Tarkovsky's The Sacrifice. His work includes portraying Detective Chief Inspector Van Veeteren in adaptations of Håkan Nesser's novels. He received the Best Swedish Actor award twice during his career. Wollter appeared in The 13th Warrior (1999).
