Suryakant Mandhare is an Indian actor and director who began his career at twelve in the film Dhruv (1938). He acted in over 100 films throughout his career. His notable collaborations include a pairing with actress Jayshree Gadkar, appearing together in 70 films such as Mohityanchi Manjula (1960) and Sadhi Mansa (1965). Mandhare featured in films like Sangte Aika (1959) and Malhari Martand (1965). In 1973, he was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India.
