Suraj Sharma is an Indian actor known for his debut performance as Piscine Molitor Patel in the 2012 film Life of Pi. He auditioned at the request of his younger brother and was chosen from 3,000 candidates. Following his success, Sharma appeared in several films including Phillauri (2017), The Hungry (2017), and Happy Death Day 2U (2019). He has also starred in Killerman (2019) and Wedding Season (2022). In addition to his film career, Sharma is a philosophy student at St. Stephen's College in New Delhi.
