Sunil Gavaskar is a former Indian cricketer who achieved the milestone of 10,000 Test runs and 30 centuries, being the first player to do so. A key player for India during the 1970s and 1980s, he was renowned for his exceptional defensive technique while also demonstrating the ability to hook and pull against the fiercest bowlers. He appeared in the film Down Underdogs (2022).
