Sullivan Stapleton is an Australian actor who played the lead role of Themistocles in 300: Rise of an Empire (2014). He gained recognition for his performance in the film Animal Kingdom, which was featured at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. Stapleton also starred in Gangster Squad (2013) and has appeared in the television series Strike Back. He received a Breakthrough Award at an Australians in Film Benefit Dinner in 2013.
