Sukumari was an Indian film actress who acted in over 3000 films, primarily in Malayalam and Tamil cinema. She began her acting career at the age of 10. Notable works include Namma Gramam (2010), for which she received the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress, and Yoddha (1992). She was honored with the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2003.
