Sukanya is a South Indian actress who made her film debut in the Tamil movie Puthu Nellu Puthu Nathu. With over 15 years in the entertainment industry, she has appeared in films across Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu languages. Her notable works include Indian (1996) and Srimanthudu (2015). In addition to acting, Sukanya is a singer, music composer, Bharatanatyam danseuse, and voice actor. She has received five Best Actress Filmfare awards for her performances in Tamil cinema.
