Sujit Kumar is an Indian film actor and producer who appeared in over 150 Hindi films during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, along with 25 Bhojpuri films. He often portrayed pivotal roles as a villain or character actor, frequently collaborating with Rajesh Khanna and director Shakti Samanta. Notable works include Geet (1970), Ankhen (1968), and Haathi Mere Saathi (1971). Kumar is recognized as the first superstar of Bhojpuri cinema and is remembered for his scene in Aradhana (1969), where he plays the mouth organ while driving a jeep. His later career focused more on production, particularly from the late 1990s.
