Suga is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer who released his first solo mixtape, Agust D, in 2016. He is a member of the globally renowned boy band BTS, under BigHit Music. His second mixtape, D-2, came out in 2020 and peaked at number 11 on the US Billboard 200. Suga's debut solo album, D-Day, was released in 2023 and debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, making him one of the highest-charting South Korean solo artists. In 2018, he received the fifth-class Hwagwan Order of Cultural Merit. Suga also appears in BTS: THE RETURN (2026).
