Suehyla El-Attar Young is an actor and writer who appeared in The Signal (2007). Based in Atlanta, Georgia, she has collaborated with numerous theatre companies, including The Alliance Theatre Company and Theatre du Reve. Young serves as an artistic associate with Synchronicity Theatre and is developing a commission for Horizon Theatre, supported by a MAP fund grant. She has a passion for creating scripts for teenagers, aspiring to be the John Hughes of high school theatre, and has written two plays, FISHBOWL and DESPERADOES. Her work reflects a transition from stage performances to film acting.
