Suchitra Sen is an Indian actress who made her Tollywood debut in 1952 with 'Shesh Kothay', a film that ultimately remained unreleased. She gained prominence after her first official release, 'Saat Number Kayedi' (1953), and starred alongside Uttam Kumar in classics such as 'Harano Sur' and 'Saptapadi'. Their pairing became legendary in Bengali cinema, with audiences cherishing their chemistry. After 1979, Sen withdrew from public life, drawing comparisons to Greta Garbo, and in 2005, she declined the Dadasaheb Phalke Award to maintain her privacy.
