Subhendu Chatterjee is a Bengali actor who made his film debut in 1960. He has been active in various productions, including notable works such as Bhai Amar Bhai (1996), Baro Bou (1997), and Memsaheb (2003). Chatterjee also participated in amateur theatre and was associated with the IPTA, gaining experience under the guidance of Jnanesh Mukherjee. He pursued a medical career, earning an M.B.B.S. degree in 1960, and worked with the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. His son, Saswata Chatterjee, is also an actor in the Bengali film industry.
