Stuart Wells is an English actor who played Michael in Billy Elliot (2000). At 18 years old during filming, he portrayed the character of an 11-year-old boy. He left acting in 2001 to enlist in the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, where he rose to the rank of corporal and completed three operational tours, including two in Iraq, before departing the military in 2008.
