Stockard Channing is an American actress who played Betty Rizzo in Grease (1978). She has won three Emmy Awards and a Tony Award, along with an Academy Award nomination for her performance in Six Degrees of Separation (1993). Channing's filmography includes notable titles such as The Fortune (1975), The Cheap Detective (1978), Heartburn (1986), and Practical Magic (1998). Additionally, she portrayed First Lady Abbey Bartlet in the television series The West Wing (1999–2006). Channing's stage work earned her a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for A Day in the Death of Joe Egg (1985).
