Steven Woodcock is an English actor who portrayed Clyde Tavernier in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 1990 to 1993. He has appeared in various television series, including Grange Hill (1983–1984), The Lenny Henry Show (1985), and Casualty (1987). In addition to acting, Woodcock has a background in writing, with one of his plays, Jah-Jah Reached The Top, staged at London's Royal Court Theatre. He is also a serious musician, having composed over 500 songs and performing professionally on guitar and bass. He featured in Defence of the Realm (1986).
