Steve Witting

Steve Witting is an American actor and director who gained prominence through his role in the 1980s comedy series Valerie. His film credits include Batman Returns (1992), Hoffa (1992), and Shutter Island (2010). Witting made his directorial debut in 1991 with an episode of Step by Step and has also appeared in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013). He began his acting journey in high school, participating in the drama club at Richmond Hill High School in Queens. Witting worked as an apprentice at the Hampton Playhouse in New Hampshire, where he met his future wife, Renee Rogers. He has maintained a connection with the Hampton Playhouse, returning as an actor or director until its demolition in 2001.
