Steve Pemberton is a BAFTA-winning actor and writer who gained prominence as a member of the comedy group The League of Gentlemen. He graduated with a degree in Theatre Arts from Bretton Hall in 1989, after which he produced and acted in various small theatre productions in London. Pemberton co-created and starred in the series Psychoville (2009) and the anthology show Inside No 9 (2014), earning a BAFTA for Best Male Comedy Performance in 2019. His film credits include Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007). Pemberton's work has been recognized with multiple BAFTA awards, including those for Scripted Comedy and Comedy Writing.
