Steve McFadden is an English actor who made his acting debut in the television film The Firm (1988). He has portrayed Phil Mitchell in the BBC soap opera EastEnders since 1990. His early career included uncredited work in the film Buster (1988) and roles in popular television series such as The Bill, Minder, and Bergerac. In addition to acting, he served as the presenter for the fighting series Britain's Hardest.
