Steve Carell is an American actor and comedian who played Michael Scott in The Office (2005–2011). He gained prominence as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart from 1999 to 2005. Carell has starred in several notable films, including Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), The 40-Year-Old Virgin (2005), and Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011). His dramatic roles include portraying John Eleuthère du Pont in Foxcatcher (2014), which earned him nominations for prestigious awards such as the Academy Award for Best Actor. Carell also co-created the TBS series Angie Tribeca (2016–2018) and starred in the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show (2019–present).
