Stephen Lang is an American actor and playwright who played Colonel Miles Quaritch in Avatar (2009). He began his career in theatre on Broadway and portrayed Stonewall Jackson in Gods and Generals (2003) and George Pickett in Gettysburg (1993). Lang has appeared in films such as Tombstone (1993), The Men Who Stare at Goats (2009), and Don't Breathe 2 (2021). He served as co-artistic director of the Actor's Studio in New York City from 2004 to 2006. His performances include his work in Avatar: The Way of Water (2022).
