Stanislav Yanevski is a Bulgarian actor who portrayed Viktor Krum in the fantasy film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). Initially, he had no aspirations to act and was not involved in drama during his education at Mill Hill School in England, where he attended with Harry Melling, another actor from the Harry Potter series. Yanevski was discovered by casting director Fiona Weir, leading him to audition for the role of Krum, which he won out of 650 candidates. He also appeared in Hostel: Part II (2007). Yanevski's breakthrough role as Krum established his presence in the film industry.
