Stacy Keach is an American actor who portrayed a washed-up boxer in the film Fat City (1972). Active since the 1960s, he first gained recognition in Off-Broadway productions and has become a significant figure in American theatre, particularly for his Shakespearean roles. His film credits include Brewster McCloud (1970), The Long Riders (1980), and American History X (1998). Keach is also recognized for his television work, notably as Mike Hammer in Mickey Spillane's Mike Hammer (1984–1987) and as Ken Titus in the sitcom Titus (2000–2002). He received a Golden Globe for his role as Ernest Hemingway in the miniseries Hemingway (1988).
