Srijit Mukherji is an Indian film director and screenwriter who made his directorial debut with Autograph in 2010. He primarily works in Bengali cinema and has garnered multiple accolades, including the National Film Award for Best Director and Best Original Screenplay for his film Chotushkone at the 62nd National Film Awards. His notable works include Jaatishwar (2014), which won four national awards, and the Hindi remake of Rajkahini, titled Begum Jaan (2017).
