Spike Jonze is an American director, producer, and actor known for his collaborations with writer Charlie Kaufman. His notable works include the films Being John Malkovich (1999) and Adaptation (2002), as well as directing Where the Wild Things Are (2009). Jonze co-created and served as executive producer for MTV's Jackass, and he has been involved in the music video and commercial industries. He is a co-founder of Directors Label alongside Chris Cunningham and Michel Gondry. Jonze also has a stake in the skateboard company Girl Skateboards. He directed Jackass 4.5 (2022).
