Soumendra Bhattacharya is a co-founder of the Kolkata-based theatre company Mad About Drama, who made his feature film debut in the Bengali horror thriller Ludo (2015). He has since taken on significant roles in several films, including the detective thriller Byomkesh O Agnibaan (2017) and the horror film Bhoot Chaturdashi (2019), directed by Shabbir Mallick. Bhattacharya also appeared in the television series Charitraheen (2018) and has been involved in projects such as X=Prem (2022) and Satyanweshi Byomkesh (2019).
