Sorapong Chatree is a Thai film actor who became one of the leading male stars by the mid-1970s. He frequently collaborated with Prince Chatrichalerm Yukol and appeared in Cherd Songsri's classic romance, Plae Kao. Over the years, Sorapong has maintained his popularity, transitioning into prominent supporting roles. His notable works include Ong Bak 2 (2008) and Ong Bak 3 (2010). In 2009, he was honored as a National Artist of Thailand.
