Sonu Sood is an Indian film actor, model, and producer who won the Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Award for Best Villain for his performance in the Telugu film Arundhati (2009). He predominantly works in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil cinema, with notable appearances in films such as Dabangg (2010), for which he received the Apsara Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role, and Jodhaa Akbar (2008). Sood has also featured in Singh Is Kinng (2008), Happy New Year (2014), and Simmba (2018). In addition to his acting career, he founded the production house Shakti Sagar Productions in 2016, named in honor of his father. His impactful roles have earned him recognition in the film industry.
