Sonam Kapoor is an Indian actress who made her acting debut in the romantic drama Saawariya (2007). She is the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor and studied theatre and arts at the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore. Kapoor worked as an assistant director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the film Black (2005).
