Sofia Polgar is a Hungarian chess grandmaster who achieved the title of Woman Grandmaster in 1990. She reached a peak Elo rating of 2505 in 1998. Alongside her sisters, she participated in an educational initiative led by their father, László Polgar, aimed at demonstrating that with early and specialized training, extraordinary accomplishments are possible. In addition to her chess career, she appeared in the film Queen of Chess (2026).
