Sofia Boutella is an Algerian dancer, model, and actress who portrayed Jaylah in Star Trek Beyond (2016). She gained recognition for her role as Gazelle in Kingsman: The Secret Service (2015) and played the antagonist Princess Ahmanet in The Mummy. In 2017, she starred as Delphine Lasalle alongside Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde, based on the graphic novel The Coldest City. Boutella has also been involved in Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire (2023) and Argylle (2024). Her diverse background includes a foundation in dance, having started rhythmic gymnastics at a young age. Sofia Boutella has collaborated with director Matthew Vaughn on multiple occasions.
