Skandar Keynes is an English political advisor who portrayed Edmund Pevensie in the film series The Chronicles of Narnia (2005-2010). He is the son of author Randal Keynes and a descendant of the renowned biologist Charles Darwin. After completing a three-month internship at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in January 2015, Keynes announced his retirement from acting in January 2016. He subsequently served as a parliamentary advisor to Crispin Blunt, a British Conservative MP, until January 2018. Keynes appeared in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010).
