Simon Yam is a veteran Hong Kong actor and film producer who began his career as a supermodel before transitioning to acting in the mid-1970s. He gained significant recognition for his role as the maniacal Judge in the crime film Hap do Ko Fei (1992), where he faced off against Chow Yun-Fat. Yam's filmography includes notable titles such as Tomb Raider 2: The Cradle of Life (2003), Chasing the Dragon II: Wild Wild Bunch (2019), and The Thieves (2012). He also starred as the leader of the Hung Hing triads in the Goo Wak Chai: Yan Joi Gong Woo (1996) series. In 2019, he survived an assault during a promotional event in China.
