Simon Rex is an American actor who gained prominence as an MTV VJ. He is known for his roles in the Scary Movie franchise and in What I Like About You. Rex has also ventured into music as a rapper under the name Dirt Nasty, releasing several albums and co-founding the hip-hop group Three Loco. His performance in the 2021 film Red Rocket earned him the Independent Spirit Award for Best Male Lead. In addition to his notable work in film and music, he appears in titles such as The Forsaken (2001) and Americana (2025).
