Simon MacCorkindale is a British actor who made his West End debut in 1974. He gained significant recognition for his role as Simon Doyle in the film Death on the Nile, which marked a pivotal point in his career, leading him to the United States. MacCorkindale appeared in various films and television series, including Quatermass, The Riddle of the Sands, The Sword and the Sorcerer, and Jaws 3-D. He also starred in the short-lived series Manimal as Dr. Jonathan Chase and played lawyer Greg Reardon in Falcon Crest. In the UK, he joined the cast of the BBC medical drama Casualty, portraying Harry Harper from 2002 to 2008.
