Shoba Narayan is a Broadway actress who made her debut in the musical Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812 (2016). She gained prominence for her portrayal of Princess Jasmine in the Disney production of Aladdin. Narayan has appeared in various stage productions, including Eliza Hamilton in the national tour of Hamilton and Nessarose in Wicked. Her film credits include the independent feature Growing Up Smith (2017), as well as roles in Quantico, Gossip Girl, and Mistress America. In addition to her acting career, Narayan is a Bharatanatyam dancer and teacher, having performed widely in both the US and India. She starred in the award-winning film Growing Up Smith, directed by Frank Lotito.
