Sheila McCarthy is a Canadian actress who played Polly Vandersma in I've Heard the Mermaids Singing (1987). She has appeared in notable films such as Women Talking (2022) and The Broken Hearts Gallery (2020). McCarthy also portrayed Sarah Hamoudi in the television series Little Mosque on the Prairie.
