Shefali Shah is an Indian actress who won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Last Lear (2007). She began her film career with a minor part in the 1995 movie Rangeela, followed by a notable performance in the crime drama Satya (1998), which garnered her critical acclaim and a Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress. Shah has appeared in several prominent films, including Monsoon Wedding (2001), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), and the series Delhi Crime (2019). Her work in Waqt: The Race Against Time (2005) earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress at the Filmfare Awards. Shefali Shah was previously married to Harsh Chhaya and is now married to director Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
