Sharon Washington is an American playwright and actress who made her film debut in Joker (2019). She has appeared in notable films such as The Bourne Legacy (2012), Michael Clayton (2007), and Die Hard With A Vengeance (1995). Washington has also featured in television series like Power Book III: Raising Kanan and Gotham, along with guest roles in Madam Secretary and Law & Order: SVU. Her stage work includes originating the role of The Lady in the musical The Scottsboro Boys, directed by Susan Stroman. Washington received an Indie Series award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the webseries Hustling. She will appear in Joker: Folie à Deux (2024).
