Shanthi Williams is an Indian actress who began her career as a child artist at the age of 12. She has played supporting roles in Tamil and Malayalam films, including notable performances in 'Anniyan' (2005) and '12 B' (2001). Williams gained recognition for her portrayal of a traditional mother in the television serial 'Metti Oli' and received the Best Actress in a negative role award from director K. Balachander for her role in 'Thendral'. She has also appeared in the popular SUN TV serial 'Vani Rani' as the mother-in-law of the main characters. Shanthi Williams was married to Malayalam cameraman J. Williams in 1979.
